Rösle Pineapple Cutter

The beautiful stainless steel and black Rösle Pineapple Cutter is an ingenious Cool Tool that easily cuts, cores, slices and removes the pineapple from its outer shell in one easy step.  There are two sets of teeth, one on the bottom to cut into the center to eliminate the woody core, and one on the edge of the slicer which spirals around to cut the flesh away from the shell and create neat, perfect slices.  Just cut off the top of the pineapple, then center the Pineapple Cutter over the center, press down and twist your way through the pineapple.  When you reach the bottom of the pineapple, a final twist dislodges the fruit, and a tug on the comfortable handle, brings it up out of the depths of the pineapple shell. Then in a very clever arrangement, the handle disengages from the tube so that you can remove the rings of pineapple all at once.  And the pineapple juice (the cook’s bonus when you’re the one cutting the pineapple!) remains inside the pineapple shell, waiting to be poured into a glass.
