We enjoy salads, almost daily: flavorful and healthful, it’s a great way to combine a wide range of ingredients and dressings to complement almost any meal. Erik Bagger (b. 1949) is originally a goldsmith by trade and, after finishing his apprenticeship, he was employed by Georg Jensen, where he worked until he became self-employed. As a goldsmith, Erik Bagger acquired a keen sense of detail, which is still characteristic in his designs today. That’s where we found this beautiful pair of brushed stainless steel salad servers. As stylized designs of a two-tined fork and a rounded spoon, these salad tools perfectly shaped to toss your salad: each fitting smoothly alongside the contours of your salad bowl, reaching under and around your ingredients to assure effective and efficient mixing and tossing. They’re both well-weighted - the ⅝”/15.8mm wide handle is ¼”/6.35mm thick at the end of each handle - and well-balanced, to deliver excellent performance in your hands.
These Salad Servers are classic Danish Modern design, from one of our favorite ‘graduates’ of the Georg Jensen organization, and they perform their role exceptionally well, in your kitchen and on your table! This pair of Salad Servers is definitely a Cool Tool!
