All Phases: Lunch or Dinner: Spiced Turkey Burgers

These turkey burgers are healthy and delicious with great flavors!

Servings: 4

1 Small Onion, diced fine
3 Tablespoons Chopped Cilantro
1 Small Jalapeno, seeded and chopped finely
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Paprika
1 Teaspoon Cumin
1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Coriander
1 Pound Ground Turkey

  • Mix all the ingredients by hand and form into 2 patties.
  • Cook in a pan on the stove top (or grill) until fully cooked, about 5 to 8 minutes on each side.
Notes:

These can also be made into meatballs and baked in the oven. They can be eaten on sprouted grain bread for Phase 1, on their own for Phase 2, or topped with avocado in Phase 3.
